A trip from Torbay to Devon to see family – the route planned is A38 from Torbay, A303 onto the M3, then M25 around to Dagenham which is estimated to be circa 240 miles each way.
Prior to leaving home the digital display on the Hyundai Hona showed 314-mile range but this is from local driving so is bound to change with
higher speeds/motorway driving etc.

We made this trip with my In-Laws and had to stop for a comfort break at Wincanton so splashed in 9.3kwh (£4.59) which would have added about 40 miles.
Continued on with our journey and arrived at destination with 103 miles (would have been about 60 miles remaining if we had not stopped)

On arrival, I plugged in at 3.6kwh charger at hotel displaying cost of 0.38p kwh and with that speed I estimate about 12 hrs & £16 to top up while snoozing but a nice surprise, the device never took payment so was a free charge.
We made the return journey in one trip with no stops and overall the total journey worked out to be a total of 480 miles with an efficiency performance of 4.6miles per kWh
The speeds driven were inline with the national speed limits and rules. Air conditioning was used for 1/2 of the journey home.
